  • The Ribbon

A ribbon that remembers being touched. This 1-inch crinkle silk ribbon carries the soft, irregular texture of hand-dyed fabric — each yard gently wrinkled, slightly unpredictable, the way real silk behaves when it has been washed and dried in open air rather than pressed flat by a machine. The surface is matte, almost powdery, catching light in creases rather than on planes. It does not shine. It glows unevenly, the way old silk does in paintings. Nine colors, each drawn from a quiet, muted place — the palette of linen closets, dried gardens, and afternoons that fade slowly. Sold individually per roll.

    • Material: Crinkle silk with raw, frayed edges

    • Width: 0.98 inch (25mm)

    • Texture: Naturally crinkled, hand-dyed finish

    • Edge: Raw-cut, slightly frayed — intentionally imperfect

    • Sold as: Individual rolls, 9 colors available

  • The Palette

This ribbon began with a feeling rather than a function: the desire for something that looked found rather than bought. Crinkle silk behaves the way vintage fabric does — it creases instead of folding, it drapes instead of falling, it has memory in its surface. The hand-dyed process gives each roll slight tonal variation, which means no two yards are perfectly identical. That is the point. The nine colors were chosen as a painter would choose a limited palette — muted, mixable, and rooted in nature rather than fashion. Ivory and Blush sit in the warm neutrals. Sage, Seafoam, and Dusty Blue occupy the cool center. Lavender bridges warm and cool. Olive and Caramel anchor the set in earth tones. Black stands alone, the only color that refuses to blend. The 1-inch width is deliberate: wide enough for the crinkle texture to read, narrow enough to tie without bulk. It is the width of handwritten ribbon — personal, proportioned, never decorative for its own sake.

Color Variation

Slight differences from product photos are normal. Each item is produced in small batches, and natural variations in dye absorption, texture, and sheen may occur — these are characteristics of the material, not defects.

Ribbon Care by Type

  • Velvet, Satin & Woven Ribbons:Our ribbons are designed to be kept, reused, and cherished for years. If cleaning is needed, gently hand-wash in cold water with a mild, pH-neutral soap. Avoid wringing or twisting — press out excess water with a clean towel. Lay flat or hang to air dry away from direct sunlight to preserve color. For a smooth finish, use a medium-heat iron or steamer. Pro tip: a hair straightener works perfectly for quick touch-ups between uses.
  • Sheer, Organza & Metallic Thread Ribbons:These ribbons are delicate and require extra care. Spot clean only — hand washing may alter their fine, translucent structure. To remove creases, lightly spritz with water and steam on low heat when nearly dry. Do not iron metallic thread ribbons directly — use a pressing cloth to protect the filaments.
  • Crinkle, Embossed & Flocked Ribbons:These textures are permanent by design. Do not wash or steam — the surface treatment may be altered. Gently brush off dust with a soft, dry cloth. If slightly misshapen from storage, reshape by hand. A cool-air hairdryer can help restore form without damaging the texture.

Artificial Flower Care

  • Materials & Sensitivity:Our artificial flowers are crafted with PC, EVA, fabric, and adhesive components. If you have material sensitivities, avoid prolonged skin contact. For decorative use only — not real flowers.
  • How to Clean:If dusty or misshapen, gently restore with a soft brush, dry cloth, or cool-air hairdryer. Do not use water — moisture may damage the petals, adhesive, or structural components.
  • Safety:Delicate components — handle with care. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Keep away from open flames and heat sources.

Storage — All Products

Store ribbons rolled — never folded — to prevent permanent creasing. Store artificial flowers in their original packaging when not in use. Keep all products in a dry, dust-free environment away from direct sunlight, heat, humidity, and open flames.

Safety — General

Our products contain polyester, organza, metallic thread, PC, EVA, fabric, and adhesive components. If you have material sensitivities, avoid prolonged skin contact.
