The Ribbon
A lace that carries a secret line of color through its center. This narrow crochet trim is built from white cotton lace with a scalloped edge on both sides — and a single thread of color woven through the middle channel, running the entire length of the roll like a vein through marble. The lace is the structure. The thread is the accent. Together they create a trim that reads as white from a distance and reveals its color only when you look closely or when light passes through the open weave at the right angle. It is decoration that rewards attention. Eight colors, each one a single thread changing the entire character of the same white lace. Sold individually per roll.

The Palette
The idea was born from ribbon-threaded lace — the Victorian technique of pulling a narrow ribbon through the slots of cotton lace trim. We simplified it: instead of a separate ribbon threaded after manufacture, the color is woven in during construction, making it permanent, flat, and impossible to pull out accidentally. The result is a trim that carries all the charm of hand-threaded lace without any of the fragility. Eight thread colors were chosen to cover every occasion without overlap: red for Christmas and valentines, black for dramatic contrast, sage and mint for garden and spring, dusty blue and lavender for weddings and baby, pink for bridal, and ivory-on-ivory for anyone who wants lace trim without visible color at all. The 10mm width is deliberate — narrow enough to border a card, edge a napkin, or trim a sleeve without adding bulk, wide enough for the crochet pattern and center thread to both read clearly. This is a finishing trim, not a feature trim. It belongs at the edge of things, completing them quietly.

Ribbon Care by Type
- Velvet, Satin & Woven Ribbons:Our ribbons are designed to be kept, reused, and cherished for years. If cleaning is needed, gently hand-wash in cold water with a mild, pH-neutral soap. Avoid wringing or twisting — press out excess water with a clean towel. Lay flat or hang to air dry away from direct sunlight to preserve color. For a smooth finish, use a medium-heat iron or steamer. Pro tip: a hair straightener works perfectly for quick touch-ups between uses.
- Sheer, Organza & Metallic Thread Ribbons:These ribbons are delicate and require extra care. Spot clean only — hand washing may alter their fine, translucent structure. To remove creases, lightly spritz with water and steam on low heat when nearly dry. Do not iron metallic thread ribbons directly — use a pressing cloth to protect the filaments.
- Crinkle, Embossed & Flocked Ribbons:These textures are permanent by design. Do not wash or steam — the surface treatment may be altered. Gently brush off dust with a soft, dry cloth. If slightly misshapen from storage, reshape by hand. A cool-air hairdryer can help restore form without damaging the texture.
