The Ribbon
A ribbon reduced to a line. This 3mm velvet cord is the thinnest ribbon that still feels like velvet — narrow enough to thread through a needle, soft enough to wrap around a finger, plush enough that when you run a thumbnail across it the nap changes direction and the color shifts a shade darker. It is not a ribbon for tying large bows. It is a ribbon for drawing with: a single line of color around a gift box, a thin velvet accent tied at the neck of a bottle, a finishing detail so fine it almost disappears into the project and leaves behind only the impression that someone cared about the last millimeter. Twenty-five colors, from the palest ivory to the deepest black, every one dense with pigment because at 10mm wide there is no room for subtlety — the color must work immediately or not at all. Sold individually per roll.

The Palette
Most velvet ribbon starts at 10mm. We wanted to know how narrow velvet could go before it stopped being velvet. The answer is 3mm — any thinner and the nap has nowhere to stand; any wider and the cord loses its linear, string-like quality. At this width, velvet becomes a drawing tool rather than a wrapping material. The twenty-five colors were chosen exhaustively: every major color family is represented, from warm neutrals (Cream, Champagne, Caramel, Taupe) through all the pinks and reds (Blush, Dusty Rose, Dark Rose, Wine, Burgundy) to the cool spectrum (Lilac, Lavender, Lilac Grey, Royal Blue, Dusty Teal, Sage Green) and the darks (Olive, Dark Brown, Black). Gold and Copper provide metallic options for holiday wrapping. The range is deliberately wide because at 3mm, color is the only variable — there is no texture variation, no width variation, no pattern. The color must carry the entire identity of each roll. We wound them loosely so the velvet is not crushed on the spool. Pull from the outside and the cord unrolls without tension, without curl, ready to be drawn in a straight line or tied in a single small knot.

Color Variation
Slight differences from product photos are normal. Each item is produced in small batches, and natural variations in dye absorption, texture, and sheen may occur — these are characteristics of the material, not defects.
Ribbon Care by Type
- Velvet, Satin & Woven Ribbons:Our ribbons are designed to be kept, reused, and cherished for years. If cleaning is needed, gently hand-wash in cold water with a mild, pH-neutral soap. Avoid wringing or twisting — press out excess water with a clean towel. Lay flat or hang to air dry away from direct sunlight to preserve color. For a smooth finish, use a medium-heat iron or steamer. Pro tip: a hair straightener works perfectly for quick touch-ups between uses.
- Sheer, Organza & Metallic Thread Ribbons:These ribbons are delicate and require extra care. Spot clean only — hand washing may alter their fine, translucent structure. To remove creases, lightly spritz with water and steam on low heat when nearly dry. Do not iron metallic thread ribbons directly — use a pressing cloth to protect the filaments.
- Crinkle, Embossed & Flocked Ribbons:These textures are permanent by design. Do not wash or steam — the surface treatment may be altered. Gently brush off dust with a soft, dry cloth. If slightly misshapen from storage, reshape by hand. A cool-air hairdryer can help restore form without damaging the texture.
Artificial Flower Care
- Materials & Sensitivity:Our artificial flowers are crafted with PC, EVA, fabric, and adhesive components. If you have material sensitivities, avoid prolonged skin contact. For decorative use only — not real flowers.
- How to Clean:If dusty or misshapen, gently restore with a soft brush, dry cloth, or cool-air hairdryer. Do not use water — moisture may damage the petals, adhesive, or structural components.
- Safety:Delicate components — handle with care. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Keep away from open flames and heat sources.
Storage — All Products
